ABOUT BRANDFX
BrandFX Body Company is the largest producer of advanced composite utility bodies in the world with over one million square feet of manufacturing space and more than 300 employees. BrandFX has provided green solutions that don’t penalize return on investment, power, or durability to utility and telecom fleets for decades. Advanced FX composites set the standard for the fiberglass construction industry.
Designer Lee Finley has over 40 years of experience with fiberglass utility bodies and is the original designer behind our service and line bodies of today. Mr. Finley, began in the truck body industry in 1969 selling truck mounted equipment, including fiberglass bodies to B.C. Hydro and other western Canadian utilities. After years of frustration with the existing body designs, he developed a new fiberglass body design which eliminated the leaking, cracking, warping and weight issues prevalent at the time. He went on to establish manufacturing in Swea City, Iowa in 1984.
Susie Finley founded SNF, Incorporated and began doing business as Fibre Body Industries South. The company manufactured and sold fiberglass utility bodies in the southern US, the Caribbean and South America, and also designed and sold a small wild land fire truck (Attack One) to various federal government agencies. In 1997 the manufacturing assets and Fiber Body name were sold to an investment banking firm. SNF, Inc. continued in business as a manufacturer’s rep and marketing arm for Fibre Body Industries. In early 2002 SNF Inc. purchased the assets of Fibre Body Industries in a bankruptcy auction and resumed manufacturing advanced composite utility bodies under the DBA BrandFx Body Company.
BrandFX corporate headquarters are located in Fort Worth, Texas.
