BrandFX Relocates Headquarters to a Larger Facility
Fort Worth, Texas (August 2010) – BrandFX Body Company (BFX), the worlds largest producer of composite utility and service bodies, now has more than one million square feet in manufacturing capacity and 150 acres of secured yard storage.
BFX recently relocated their Corporate Headquarters and manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, Texas to a 211,000 square foot facility on 52 acres. The new location is only a few blocks north on I-35 from the previous location; phone numbers, and fax numbers remain the same.
Over the past few years BFX has invested heavily to increase manufacturing efficiency and improve quality, becoming ISO 9001:2008 Certified. The new facility has been designed to house new manufacturing processes for the production of standard BFX composite service bodies, toppers and inserts. Owner Lee Finley said, “this strategic move will strengthen overall operations and manufacturing capacities; providing faster delivery times, and unmatched quality for our customers.” The move was driven by the need for more manufacturing space to accommodate the increase in market demand for lightweight material technologies. This trend received a big push in 2006 with soaring energy prices. Today, government mandates on reduced emissions and increased fuel economy are good indicators the old welded steel service bodies will continue losing position in the market as the default choice. “We’ve been the best kept secret in the industry for 30 plus years, now fleet managers can’t afford not to switch.
